- Access Road: Active logging occurs on West Canoe Forest Road—high-clearance 4×4 recommended but not always necessary.
Trail Features
- Distance & Elevation:
- Main lookout: 1.2 km round-trip (100m elevation gain).
- Upper/lower waterfalls: 2 km round-trip (180m elevation gain).
- Highlights: Glacier-fed waterfalls, Kinbasket Lake views, rope-assisted descents to waterfall bases (optional), and lush forest scenery.
- Difficulty: Easy to moderate, with short steep sections and slippery rocks when wet.
Important Notes
- Safety: Watch for stinging nettles, bears (make noise!), and logging trucks on the access road.
- Best Seasons: Spring to fall.
- Facilities: No bathrooms or cell service; bring water, bug spray, and sturdy footwear.
